SUMMARY
Target Optical, a subsidiary of Luxottica, wanted to increase their brand recognition and awareness in the southeast region of the United States.
The strategy included creating a Giveaway via social media where winning contestants received tickets to attend the Country Music Festival in June 2013.
RESULTS
The Giveaway was quite successful and positioned Target Optical as a premier retailer for eye wear in the southeast resulting broader brand awareness and brand recognition for the retailer.
